4GL Solutions consultants are presently engaged in building a data warehouse/EIS reporting environment for executives at Pioneer Entertainment.

The technology chosen was the Red BrickTM data warehouse on a Windows NTTM platform incorporating Web FOCUSTM and Brio TechnologyTM front end reporting systems.

The application is a Sales EIS analysis tool allowing drill down capabilities for regional, product, and customer detail. Users will be able to perform historical trend , forecasting, and drill-down analysis functions.

This new technology will allow 24 hour access to data, faster processing, and give control over data to the respective business units. The GUI front end technology will facilitate a user-friendly reporting environment, requiring minimal training, and enable users to incorporate other desktop tools (Excel, Word) to access the data warehouse.

4GL consultants are performing all project related tasks in the design, development, and execution of this system.
